Califf and Pierra Kids - Fun times

Some how, my team got scheduled for pictures at 7:10am! Holy Cow. I am not even up then. My team was all on time and everybody was happy. I some how ended up with Luke and Ian for the day. (our game was later at 4pm). They had a lot of fun. They love our neighbors tree. Thanks Kim and Chuck.
Lunch time
Who does she choose? The actor or the soccer player like her Daddy?

At Eisenhower park a different day. We later went to FREE hot god day at HDS for dinner. They have so much fun with Ian and Zaiden. I just love their mommy Azsha too.
Off on their scooters.

For you Babe - Hopefully these will make you smile

More from our hilarious middle child

At Disneyland
Me: Blake, please go on the Matterhorn with Nana. Paige and I just went. It was fun.
Blake: I don't want to go.
Me: Come on, It's Nana's Birthday. It will be fun.
Blake: Fine
So. they go and he says to my mom when they get off
Blake: That was definitely not my idea of fun

At Chuck E Cheese Today
Blake: Do you have any water mommy?
Me: Yeah, here you go
Blake: Thanks. That was nice and refreshing

At Nana and Papa's checking out the Garden with Papa
Blake: I love this Garden Papa. It is a dream come true. I didn't think I would ever get a garden. I love it.

At dinner tonight
Blake (to Papa): Is Watermelon (his favorite fruit) healthy?
Papa: Yes
Blake: Then, why do I have to eat it after my noodles? Daddy says we have to eat the healthy stuff first.

He loves growing food, he loves eating food, he loves making food, he loves watching food on TV. You have created this lil guy. I can't wait to see if he ends up being a chef like he wants to be right now. Thank you for raising this wonderful little person with me. He is awesome!

For Daddy while he's in South Africa

Your baby boy is not such a baby anymore. Still loving to take cat naps, rolling all over the place, loves to jump in the jumper, trying to sit up, and is starting to eat baby food. He still loves when P or B talk to him.. which is still very rare. They are just too busy for him.
In case you forgot what the Blake-e Man does all day.. He had no idea I was taking this picture. Seriously... why????

We miss Daddy!

Calling Daddy on the phone with their huge zucchinis they picked from the garden.

9 Year Anniversary Trip to Chicago

So, I flew to California on Monday and then decided to meet Danny in Chicago the following Saturday (I just love flying that much - ya right!). It was so easy flying alone... I mean too easy! No one to take to the bathroom, no one's hand to hold, no one to color with or read to... it was pretty lonely. However it was super peaceful and I read an entire book. Once I arrived I immediately went to the US vs. Honduras game. Soldier Field is HUGE and it was loud.. I was in the nose bleed which was way too high for me. That night we went out to a club with the team and had a GREAT time. It brought back so many memories of US before kids... Not that I don't love my kids to pieces but when it was just US we could do what we wanted, when we wanted, where we wanted, etc.. I drank a little too much but enjoyed myself so much. It was a much needed break for just US.
I had never been to Chicago and I must say it is awesome! New York and Chicago have the same vibe and I love NY so Chicago is a close 2nd. The next day we woke up late (my dream day always starts this way), went to a great restaurant for brunch, shopped all day and then went to dinner. The first pic I posted is of us going to the 95th floor. (again, way to high for me)

I actually ate all of this seafood. It was raw too. But, it was yummy. I must have been starving.

I never usually take pictures of food but my friend Leah did when I was in CPH with her so I thought I should. Happy 9 year Anniversary Mr. Califf. I love you more and more with each crazy year that passes...

This was our view from the table - 95 floors up! Ahhh! The fog was even below us. That right there says we should not be that high. After dinner we went to see a live Improv show.. It was a lot like Who's Line Is It Anyway? I just love that show. We had such a great time... I miss you already babe!

Locks of LOVE

Paige has been debating for almost a year now whether she should cut her hair off or not. She hates to have me brush it and very rarely lets me do anything to it (I'm always so sad. My only girl and she won't let me do "fun" things to it). Well, she finally decided to do it. She said it was because she wanted to help a little girl get a wig and because she was tired of Jude pulling on her hair. (Way to go Jude!)
Blake was so excited to hold Paige's hair

The Result. She looks so darn cute. I am really proud of her for wanting to help someone else.
Jude smiling at Paige's new haircut

5 months stats: 18.4lbs (90th % for height, 80th % for weight, and 10% for Head circumfrance) My doctor is having me measure Jude's head each week to see how it is growing. He is looking over the CT Scan and thinks getting another one might be best... he does say his head is growing which is good. It's just small and not growing by milestones.... Continue to pray for my baby boy.

We're in California

He's a jumping bean just like Paige and Blake My dad and mom spoiled the kids again. This time with a vegetable garden. Blake was so excited. He has already taken to watering them and checking every morning to see if anything needs to be picked. There are green beans, tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, carrots, bellpeppers, chili peppers, and onions. Danny, you're going to love it!

Blake showing off his favorite vegetable - tomatoes!

Paige at her first soccer practice. She did awesome. I was a tad overwhelmed with 11 kids all talking at once but all in all it was great. We are blue and white - THE WAVES.

He wants to sit up so bad. Thank you Keri for letting me borrow your Bumbo seat, along with your other many baby items. I'm glad you keep everything :)
