He's 9 months

HE IS SO MUCH FUN. He's waving Bye Bye.
And can crawl up to me, which I love.
He's now pulling himself up on things - Danny found him in his crib a few days ago like this.
And, he's trying to go shopping.

Paige's camping Trip / Blake's Day with Mommy

So, Paige went on an overnight trip with her school. I was so nervous, worried, sad, overwhelmed, etc.. She has only stayed with my mom or Danny before and I was freaked out. It was only for 24 hours and it was 30 mins away so I knew if something were to happen I could get to her easily :) She listened very well in class because she told me they were taking the blue buses, the ones that take them away from the town. I tried to convince her to wear something other than white tights but she refused as usual.
In line with her friend, Karolina. She is helping Karolina speak English because she knows none. Paige is really having fun with her.
While Paige was at her camping trip I took Blake to the deer park again. This was his element - outdoors, with animals, things to climb on, sticks and bugs to find on the ground, a large area to run around in. The deer were also hungry this time so they actually ate out of his hand (I tried to get the picture but I was too slow). He would only feed the Daddy deers though... not sure why??

We had to shave his head because his hair was out of control. Like Paige, he never lets me do anything to it. After the Deer Park we headed to a McDonald's for dinner and then over to a friends house to play. He was given the royal treatment too because he got books in bed with me and then got to sleep with me because Danny was in CPH for the night.

WAR

Silly to take a picture of this but Paige wanted me to. She is very competitive like her mommy and daddy. She loves to play games which is so fun. Recently, it's been war. Well, this was our WAR we had. Started with a 2, then an ACE, then a 5 and then Paige won with a 5... beating my 4. Can you believe that?? I was soooo mad!

SKAT

Aren't these bushes nice? These are our neighbors.
And this is our yard. We were just told that if we don't make them pretty we will get a bill from SKAT (tax) for not maintaining our yard. This country will tax you for anything... no joke!

Wonderful Saturday Night

We had a teammate of Danny's over for dinner last weekend. The weather was AMAZING!! I think it was the best day/night we have had in Århus in a long time. Of course Blake insisted on another boat race.
It was suppose to be ANITA PEDICURE. I didn't win.
I found some great chocolate crackers that were prefect for smores. No more Graham Crackers needed.
Yummy! They ate quite a bit and since the weather was so nice they were outside playing until 10:30pm. It was a very special occasion.
Jude loves being on the trampoline and Paige loves rolling around with him. He is so fun and Paige is enjoying playing him so much more. Jude just adores her and Blake too.

Go Jude!

Seriously, he is ALWAYS this happy.
It's so close... I'm gonna get you ball.
He is officially crawling and loving life. I love that he crawls up to me now too.
Yeah, I got it! Today he woke up with his 5th tooth too. He's almost 9 months old. I can't believe my baby is such a big boy already.

The Boat Race

Blake got this great idea to take all the recycling and make boats out of them. We have a spa that doesn't work so he thought it would be a perfect place to race the boats. This making of the boats took a very long time. Each boat was named, given a captain, etc..
This is Blake's boat. He even thought of using the electric bubble blower for the motor. One smart cookie if you ask me :)
Blake-e man's Boat came in 1st, Hot Tamales (mine) came in 2nd, The Zebra (Danny's) came in 3rd, and Orange County (Paige's) came in last. She is dead set on a re-match but Blake is not giving up his motor. We still have his boat, which he plays with daily. He is so funny about it.

You all should try it. :) The things you do when you don't have a car and no place to go. Get creative people!!

WASH WHEN DIRTY - HUH?

It reads: WASH WHEN DIRTY. Really??

Paige the Rock Climber

Paige made it to the top and did it 2 times. She was a pro!! Blake went about 4 feet off the ground and said he'll do it when he's 5. I forget that he is only just 4. He's just such a big boy. Atleast he tried. That is one thing Danny and I try and stress - you must try it before you say you can't or don't like it. So far they are both are pretty good.

Jude - 8.5 months

He's starting to get up on all 4 but he has mastered the turn around and roll to where you want to go so I'm not sure when he'll actually crawl.
He does this new laugh that I just love. He closes his eyes and tilts his head back. SO cute!
He looks exactly like Paige here.
Ready to go into the city with Daddy.
Will try and reach up but he can't do it yet. He can only stand for a few seconds too before he plops down.

VERY Unplanned Photo shoot at the Deer Park

Hamburg, Germany

A guy on Danny's team recommended this restaurant. It was so GOOD! The kids enjoyed it, Jude ate so much, and both Paige and Blake tried everything.
They came around with huge legs of meat. So many different kids. Along with the meat, they served rice, beans, vegetables, fruit, etc. in these large platters. Basically the waiters walk around with these legs of meat and dishes of food and you can try whatever you want and as much as you want. We can't wait to go back!
Danny was so excited to get a USA Today. The kids of course wanted to do it too.
On the U Bahn. The kids love it. I wish they had something like this in Denmark.
Me and My boys on the U Bahn

Hamburg, Germany #2

This Baboon had such a unique coloring. He was the only one and we're not sure why. Anyone know?
So fun that they got to feed the elephants. The zoo was awesome. And really big!
Paige is definitely my animal lover. This was right up her alley.
The first day we walked around the city (I got a Starbucks. Yeah!), shopped, and had yummy food. I wanted to brag that while everyone was at the Street fair having a brot, we had the REAL thing.
Along the water were rowing races. The kids had fun watching and hanging out.

Hamburg, Germany #3

The weather was really good so we went to a great park near the Youngs home. The kids ran around, we played with the frisbee and the kids climbed trees.
We got lucky and saw the feeding of the bears. It was crazy how long they would stand and then how they ate the fish was amazing. They take their time and don't swallow it hole.
Never would you see these playground "toys" in the US.
Super fun swing. Again, not something you would normally see.
We can't wait to go back!
